A’lante Flamenco returns to Zilker Park September 18 and 19 for two free performances of Flamenco Under the Stars.
The Austin company brings flamenco into conversation with son jarocho and Arabic music, connecting Cádiz, Veracruz and Palestine through rhythm, dance and live performance. Guests include Los Fandangueros de Austin, Sari Andoni and Josh Peters.
Student dancers from Flamencura open the evening at 8 p.m., followed by A’lante Flamenco. The performances run from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Beverly Sheffield Hillside Theater in Zilker Park.
